Why Are There So Many Different Colours?

Well, why not?!

There's no difference other than aesthetics between our HI 180 stirrers, it's just up to you to pick your favourite colour. Although that being said, we have found that it works quite well being able to colour code different department equipments, so you can stop that next door lab stealing your equipment... It is also useful if you are routinely stirring the same type of mixture that is a certain colour, to choose a stirrer that does not obscure the ability to see that mixture. Essentially though, it's up to you, just pick a colour that looks nice and you're sorted...
