Transmitters and Probes

Our relative humidity and temperature compact transmitter (HI 8666) is a solid state transmitter that plugs into its wall-mounted receptacle for on site, continuous monitoring of relative humidity and temperature in critical or controlled environments. Equipped with a removable sintered cap, the HI 8666 sensor is well protected for the long run against the ingress of dust or unclean environments. This is ideal in some applications such as the food industry where reliability rather than response time is the primary objective. With the sintered cap removed, the response time is faster although it is no longer protected from dust or debris.

Hanna humidity probes utilise a high tech Thin-Film Polymer Capacitance (TFPC) humidity sensor. This sensor enables rapid response and high accuracy. Several different versions are available for your specific needs. For rapid response, we recommend the probe with perforated cap, whilst for environments that may contain dust and powders, we recommend a probe with a sintered cap.
