The HI-981402 is a water resistant meter designed to be hung on the wall using the moulded in hook. The meter can be set to indicate an 'alarm' condition at any pH point between 3.0 and 11.0pH. A red LED light warns the operator in the event that the reading is outside the setpoint by more than half a pH unit.

Supplied complete with a double junction plastic body gel filled pH electrode with a 2m cable and a BNC connector, which is protected by a waterproof sheath when fitted to the meter. Calibration can be performed manually at 1 or 2 points using pH buffer 4 and 7 solutions.

The meter uses a 12volt power source which can be from a car battery or similar, or from the mains using a 12volt transformer which is included in the price of the instrument.
