A unique product and especially designed in response to our food customers request for a dual purpose thermometer. Our customers wanted the accuracy of a conventional food thermometer with a stainless steel probe combined with the convenience and speed of temperature checking using an infra red thermometer.
The HI-99556 is exactly that, a conventional food thermometer when used with the supplied penetration probe giving a high degree of accuracy, and a non-contact infrared thermometer. Simply switch to infrared and to check a large number of product temperatures quickly. If a reading appears unusual, then switch to conventional sensor and take a between pack reading or probe the food itself for a core temperature. The HI99556 does it all, and saves you time and money.
