Designed to provide quick and accurate results when used for conductivity of soil, the HI-993310 is supplied complete with 2 different types of sensor. The first of these is a spear pointed stainless steel probe for pushing into the soil, the second sensor is for liquid fertilizer enriched water measurements.

In addition to conductivity, the meter measures salt activity in grams per litre and will alert the operator via an LED red light, if the soil is too dry o get an accurate reading, or if nutritive substances such as potassium or nitrogen are missing in the soil.
