The Piccolo features a 90mm long amplified pH electrode. The micro-amplifier in the electrode overcomes the problems associated with conventional pH meters when being used in particularly damp or humid conditions.

By amplifying the pH signal at the electrode source, no signal inference can occur at the connection point to the meter, thus ensuring better accuracy and consistency of results. A further benefit of an amplified electrode is the electrode is much faster to respond and give a final value.

The meter itself has a clear LCD display which provides pH readout to 0.01pH and due to the amplified electrode technology, gives similar accuracy performance as a more expensive bench pH meter. Supplied complete with 90mm amplified electrode and pH 4 and 7 buffer solutions for manual 2 point calibration.
