Bromine is sometimes used as a disinfectant in swimming pools instead of Chlorine. This Bromine test kit contains everything needed to carry out 60 individual tests using the DPD chemical method.
Uses the colorimetric method of measurement which means that a colour develops in the sample to be measured when the chemical (reagent) is added. This colour is then compared to a colour scale supplied in the kit which determines the amount of the parameter being measured present, and produces a result in mg/L.
