The acid mining industry produces discharge water which can be both acid or alkaline depending on the type of metal present in the water. Since this run-off water may eventually make its way into the water system it is important to check that it does not pollute the environment.
The HI-3819 combination test kit includes all the necessary tests for alkalinity, acidity, pH and iron. 100 tests can be performed for acidity and alkalinity, and 50 tests can be made for iron. pH is measured using an electronic digital readout tester which can perform many 1000's of tests for pH.
