The HI-146 is a high accuracy compact food thermometer designed to be hung on the wall and used with a stainless steel sensor on a 2m cable. The thermometer can be left switched on all day (it's got a 5 year battery life), out of harms way on the wall.
The food can then be checked using the remote stainless steel temperature sensor supplied. These features make it an ideal thermometer for busy goods-in departments or food quality control laboratories. Another feature is the unique to Hanna cal check feature allowing the operator to verify the thermometer circuit is still in calibration at the press of a button.
