HI-99181 is a pH meter from Hanna Instruments, specifically designed for skin analysis. Essential for labs researching the biological compatibility of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

HI-99181 provides affordable, fast, simple measurements without compromising precision.

The HI-1414D/50 special flat tip electrode permits perfect contact between probe and sample. Thanks to the built in temperature sensor, measurements are automatically compensated for the effects of temperature. The meter guides the user through the different steps of calibration with specific messages and symbols.

The reading can be frozen on the display, thanks to the HOLD feature. The user can select not only the pH calibration buffer set, but also the temperature measurement unit (C or F).
This laboratory instrument measures in wide pH and temperature ranges, from -2.00 to 16.00 pH, and from -5.0 to 105.0C.

The calibration is automatic at 1 or 2 points, selectable between 2 memorized buffer sets.

Battery life is more than 1500hours and percentage of remaining battery life is displayed at start up, it also turns off automatically after 8 minutes of inactivity.

The HI-99181 is supplied with HI-1414D/50 pH electrode, pH 4 and pH 7 buffer sachets, HI-700620 (2 x 20ml sachet) cleaning solutions, batteries, rugged carrying case and instructions.
