Copper is a very important element. Besides being an essential microelement for plants and animals, it is widely used in many applications, like alloys, pigments, kitchen utensils, pipes, electric wires, etc. Copper salts are often employed to contain the growth of plankton and algae. In drinking water copper's presence with concentrations higher that 1 mg/L can give a bitter taste.
Hanna Instruments presents HI-95747 to measure a wide range of copper concentrations, from 0.000 to 1.500mg/L. Analysis is very simple, just add a sachet of powder.
The new powder reagent HI-95747-01 has the advantage of being stable for a long time. Thanks to its components, the reagent can be used in different fields. In fact it works even in salt water and doesn't suffer from iron or calcium interference.
Validating the instrument is possible at any time with the Cal Check standard cuvets.
The HI-95747C kit includes HI-95747 meter, rugged carrying case, scissors, tissue for wiping cuvets and Cal Check standard.
