This meter measures fluoride from 0.00 to 2.00mg/L. Fluoride is naturally present in water and in some countries the level is kept at 1 mg/L in order to prevent dental cavities.
A high concentration of fluoride can be harmful, so its presence needs to be monitored. Hanna Instruments offers the HI-95729C kit, including an automatic 2000uL micropipettor.
The Micropipettor is a fast and excellent tool to safely dose liquid reagent. The micropipettor's tip is easily changed.
One of the most important interfering element for fluoride analysis is chlorine, present in some applications such as drinking waters.
Hanna Instruments suggests the HI-93703-53 liquid reagent with dropper to remove chlorine interference. This reagent is very quick and practical to use, just add a drop every 2mg/L of chlorine to eliminate its interference.
Validating the instrument can be performed at any time with Cal Check standard cuvets.
The HI-95729C kit includes HI-95729 meter, rugged carrying case, tissue for wiping cuvets, Cal Check standard and fixed volume 2000uL automatic pipet.
