Where is Hanna Instruments and how do I contact you?

When buying over the internet it's nice to know who you are dealing with. Here in the UK, we are based in Leighton Buzzard, with a central warehouse, service calibration laboratory and sales centre.

What happens when you place an internet order with us
When you have decided what it is you want to buy, you can simply click on the Qty box that appears alongside each product and enter the quantity you wish to purchase. Then, click on the Order button that is at the Top and the Bottom of each page. This will add the chosen product(s) to your order.

Our internet shop will automatically return you to the product page you were on after approximately 5 seconds to allow you to carry on shopping. If you have finished shopping and wish to complete your order, then simply click on the Checkout Button in the top right-hand corner of your screen.

Then simply follow the on-screen instructions and complete your address details and where you would like us to deliver to. We charge a standard £5 for next day courier delivery anywhere in the UK.

On-line Security
To ensure your details are kept safe and sound, we use Worldpay to handle all our on-line credit/debit card transactions. Worldpay are a part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. All transactions are fully encrypted ensuring your card details remain safe and secure at all times.

Refunds and Order Cancellations
You have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receipt of your goods. You many cancel your order by:-

(a) sending a notice of cancellation by email, fax or post ensuring that you quote your name, address and account reference number (which will be on your invoice).

(b) if you have already received the goods, by returning the goods unopened together with the original invoice within 7 working days from the date you received the goods.

We will then refund you the purchase price of the goods after we have inspected them to ensure that they are in un-used condition. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered them to you in error. Any missing accessories or components which were part of the original order, but are not returned will also be charged for.

Once we receive notification from you that you wish to withdraw from the contract (in accordance with these terms), any sum debited from your credit or debit card in relation to your order will be re-credited to that credit or debit account as soon as possible, and no later than 28 days of your order, provided that the goods you wish to return are received in the condition that they were in when delivered to you.

What about damaged/faulty or goods sent in error?
In the unlikely event that you receive goods from us that are damaged or appear to be faulty, we would ask that you:-

a) Keep all original packaging - this will aid us in ascertaining the nature of the damage that occurred and will help us improve the service delivered by our courier company. In the event of damaged product being received, we may ask for the outer packaging to be preserved and returned to us.

b) Please contact us BEFORE returning any such items. Because our products are technical in nature, it is possible that an item that appears faulty, may in fact just require the correct sensor to be connected or a operator calibration to be performed. This can easily be done after talking through the 'problem' with one of our technical support team.

It is extremely unlikely that you will encounter either of the above problems as all products are inspected before dispatch, and we take great care in the packaging and shipping of your order. If an item is received in a damaged state, is genuinely faulty, or if we have shipped the incorrect item or incorrect quantity (i.e.: excess product), then, subject to the items being returned in the condition they were received in, we will credit the full transaction back against your credit or debit card.
